iPresenter for Microsoft Powerpoint App Reviews

Setup is very easy, iPresenter found my PC in a few seconds, then found my presentation in under a second. Switching slide is extremely fast, I was expecting lag when switching from slide to slide but the slide changes are instantaneous!!! Great Product! A few suggestions: I would love to have a view that shows the current slide (big) and the next slide (small) at the same time. It would also be great if it could show the slide animations. Even without that, it is an excellent product!

The app is great however, I am disappointed that it only has a PC Software to work with on computers. I will change my star rating if a MAC applicable software will be available also. Thank you.

Almost works as advertised. If you use builds in your slides then the slide is not properly displayed on the Phone/Touch. You see the entire slide as if it was completely built. I have slides that start with a photo, and then the photo disappears after the first click and then bullet points start to build. The Phone display shows the photo for the entire duration of the slide, and the bullets are obscured. Net-net - if you use slide builds, then you are still required to "rubberneck" to see what is really happening on the PC.

I am a high school History 12 teacher and I use this app. It allows me to move around the classroom and be "chained" to the computer and projector. It took very little to set up. I love how cheap it was compared to the actual ppt remotes that sell for $50-$100 or more. The range is great and the response time is instant. Great App

Does not work on windows 7 through boot camp. Waste of time and money.

Bought this app prior to upgrading to win7 & it has no compatibility. This issue should be addressed promptly

Downloaded 15 min before a budget proposal ...... Worked so well the board is buying application for entire sales staff. Oh yeah, my budget was approved.

Other than I paid $4.99 the day before the price was reduced, this is a phenomenal app. Once it was setup, it has performed perfectly with Powerpoint 2007. I love that all of the open presentations can be seen in the menu, that I can see the next slide on the iPhone, that I can control the slides from any distance within range of the Wi-Fi network, and that the slides come up full screen on my laptop when selecting the presentation. Great job!!

Works seamlessly! Easy install and configuration, nice big buttons and quick response. What happens if you get a call? Decline and move on with the presentation or answer and it boots you out. No problem. Great app. Highly recommend!

This is the best remote on the market. Incredible range and easy to use from the moment you install it. This is a must for anyone doing presentations with their iTouch or iPhone. To top it off you cannot beat the price!!!

Great app! But it would be helpful if you could preview the next slide on your iphone with the simple touch of a button on the same screen instead of switching between the current slide and next slide as seperate modes. Currently you have to press three times to switch back and forth which can distract the focus of presenter. Would also be great to expand the slide on our phone screen with a simple touch so that the slide can be read more easily from our phones; it is very small and tough to read. The ability to read your notes on the presentation would be a big plus as well. Very useful and easy to use app! Hope you can incorporate suggestions on next upgrade.

I like it - a lot. Great product - works seamless - great job. Couple of requests: - can you make the arrow buttons smaller - they take too much real estate. - is it possible to make the "presentation" area zoomable so that I can actually read what is on the slide - it does not work when connected to corporate proxies - is there a workaround for that? Lot of apps like stocks/weather dont work behind our proxy - so this is not new to me. - I use lot of slide comments as my speaking notes - is there a way to pull up and show the slide notes?

Great app, with once exception. Please add a Blank Screen function. Other than that, good job. Blank Screen = 5th Star.

I was dumb enough to not look at the system requirements, but honestly... this should be in BOLD letters at the top of the info bar!!!

Stay away... tried to run this, went through the entire FAQ, even set up a proxy server (which screwed up my wireless access for 1/2 day)... it does not work. They wont even answer their support email address.

It just wont work. The software that goes ok computer wont run. Its junk, dont bother with it.

This is a great app once I installed .net framework from microsoft cuz it kept bringing up a net 2.0 error but its great to be able to change presentations. The only thing I dont like is that it didnt update the view in my iPhone once Ive clicked the next animation. I can wrk with that though great app.

A solid and useful app but It can not advance through builds on slides.

This is great app as it is the few app that connects to my laptop via peer to peer network. It also works with my PowerPoint 2000 which is impressive. But this app would be perfect if there would be an option to display powerpoint notes of each slide instead of the slides itself. Other than that, this is a great app and I am impressed with what it can do.
